Harry James Potter (also known as the boy who lived and the choosen one)was born on July 31,1980 in Godricks Hollow. Godricks Hollow is a small wizarding village named after Godrick Gryffindor located in Great Britain.Harry potter was born to two amazingly talented wizards named Lily and James Potter.Harry spent the first year of his life in his parents protection and had plenty of love from his family but no one knew the tragedy that was to await on the night of halloween in 1981 that would separate the family forever.Voldemort the most evil and terrible wizard was on his way to the Potters small home.He was known for murdering for fun and for power.When he reached the potters house he killed James first even though he gave him a courageous fight. Voldemort had only come to kill Harry because of the prophecy saying that one day Harry would destroy him once and for all.Lily tried to protect Harry by telling Voldemort to kill her instead. After killing Lily he went to Harry's crib and said "Avada Kedarva" which is the killing curse. No one never knew why but somehow the killing curse backfired and harry survived unharmed but with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. Voldemort was gone but only some knew that it wouldnt be long before he tried and rise to power again.
That night Rubeus Hagrid(Hogwarts gamekeeper),Minerva Mcgonagall(Hogwarts Transfiguration teacher),and Albus Dumbledore(headmaster of Hogwarts) helped drop Harry off at his Uncle and Aunt's house since they were his only remaining relatives.Harry's Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon were muggles(not a drop of magical blood in their viens).Ten years passed and Harry was used to living with the Durleys.They had a son names Dudley and he was the same age as Harry but they did not get along.Harry was treated poorly.He wad to do lots of cleaning around the house and never got to have any fun.He had never amagined that he was special.The Dursleys even told Harry that his parents had died in a car crash and he had recieved his scar in the car crash as well. He didn't know about anything until Hagrid came and told him all about the wizarding world and Hogwarts where he would be attending school.
Hogwarts and later life
In Harry's years at Hogwarts he met his two best friends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley who were all sorted into Gryffindor. Harry Escaped Voldemorts grasp many times again.Harry was surprised during his first year because he was so famous.He was the only one ever known to survive after the killing curse.Harry was contantly tryng to stay out of trouble so his first priority was staying alive.Harry's friends helped Harry to stay alive and he could not have survived without them.Harry finally felt like he was at home at Hogwarts.He was having the time of his life.Harry alos made friends with Hagrid,Neville, and Luna Lovegood. Harry went on many adventures with his friends and he had help from the headmaster Albus Dumbledore.After Albus's death in Harry's 6th year at Hogwarts,he decided to drop-out of school and destroy Voldemort once and for all which was the job Dumbledore had left him. In the following year Harry,Ron,and Hermione went out on the run since Voldemort had returned and was after Harry.The ministry was taken over by death eaters.After destroying all 7 of Voldemort's horcruxes Voldemort was finally destryed and he was able to have a somewhat normal life.He married Ginny Weasley and had 3 kids named James Sirius Potter,Albus Severus Potter and Lily Luna Potter.Harry still keeps in touch with his best friends Hermione and Ron.
